What is EVA? 

EVA is elk velvet antler. As the only regularly renewing appendage among mammals, velvet antler contains glucosamine, chondroitin, amino acids, protein, vitamins and minerals that work together to generate new growth in elk, deer and other antlered mammals. Bulls can continue to produce new antlers for as many as 15 years.

How do you raise your elk?

Our elk have the run of nearly 200 acres on our ranch in North Idaho. They enjoy forests, pasture land and natural water sources, just like they would in the wild, plus they have a dependable source of food.

Is Velvet Vitality comparable to other supplements that contain chondroitin sulfate and/or glucosamine?

In one sense, yes. Velvet Vitality EVA offers the same benefits that other products containing chondroitin sulfate and/or glucosamine for muscle strength, endurance and joint health. In another sense, because Velvet Vitality derives these substances from 100% percent natural, self-renewing elk velvet antler, it is preferable to those supplements that contain additives or non-sustainably sourced animal products. Also, because our EVA provides a number of other beneficial ingredients, it offers additional health benefits that other products do not.

What do Velvet Vitality supplements contain?

Just 100% natural powdered elk velvet antler, which contains protein, amino acids, Omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, iron and other essential minerals, collagen, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine, prostaglandins and more.

What dosage do you recommend?

Our recommended dosage is one capsule per 40 pounds of body weight per day, with the maximum dosage not to exceed 2,000 mg daily. Each Velvet Vitality capsule contains 250 mg., and each bottle contains 60 capsules. We also offer EVA in powdered form. For best results, take your EVA supplements on an empty stomach every morning.

What about pets?

For dogs and cats, we recommend one capsule per 30 to 40 pounds of body weight daily. Other animals such as horses can benefit from Velvet Vitality supplements too. We also offer Elk Antler Button Chews and Elk Antler Chews for your dog’s dental health.

How quickly do EVA supplements start working?

Typically, you will notice positive results in a week or two after you start taking Velvet Vitality EVA. If you have a chronic condition such as arthritis, it may take slightly longer before you begin feeling relief. Pets with osteoarthritis and symptoms of aging may show positive results in as little as two days.

What are the side effects of EVA?

Side effects are minimal, and none are permanent. Some people and pets may experience mild stomach upset when taking higher dosages. A small percentage of older men who already have enlarged prostrates may experience a temporary increase in symptoms, but this goes away after a few weeks.
